The technique of teaching children how to match a sound with its matching letter or letter group is known as phonics. In the phonics activity book, we have done our level best to teach the children the letter and how it sounds. For them to see, we have written the letter in a highly appealing and fascinating typeface. Then, for them to hear it, we have introduced a special feature. We used Sinhala, their native language, for pronunciation to help them understand what the letters sounded like. This will boost the child’s interest in learning English and make it simpler for them since they will have the assistance of something in which they are more comfortable and confident.
